![]() ![]() A subpar game that just does not live up to the hype or the original. As of now, if you like playing games at a decent frame-rate (30+ fps) or not experiencing bugs like glitching through things at random then avoid this game but if you like low frame rate, subpar graphics and janky animations and cut-scenes then this game is for you but I just can't recommend as someone who appreciates video games and how they are made with care and passion. Story is weird and great but the frame rate and bugs just take so much away from the open word, combat and the story itself that i'm saddened that this is what we got. The reason are 2 different publishers for physical / digital. If you are a fan of the first one then you expect low fps, janky animations, cut-scenes and dialog However, for a sequel ten years later, If you are a fan of the first one then you expect low fps, janky animations, cut-scenes and dialog However, for a sequel ten years later, while the janky animations and cut-scenes should remain, you should expect at least a stable 30 fps frame-rate even for a game on the switch with not very great graphics to say the least. ![]() Also apparently the physical version doesn't get patches, while the digital version does. Unless you got the PC version fixed, their ranking was I saw a video of someone comparing all DP1 versions. I'll definitely play through it a 2nd time Overall I am happy with the game and how it fits into the overall story. ![]() Also, I was disappointed that I could not look through windows and stalk people. Gameplay wise the framerate was no issue for me, but a few side quests felt dull, especially since the rewards are forgettable. ![]() Story wise there are a few unanswered questions I would've liked to be solved, but overall the characters are quite good and the main cast was believable to me. I will not get into details, but you can see that the cases of DP1 and 2 really changed Zach. I really liked how DP1 and 2 were connected. I had my first playthrough today and was emotionally touched at the end. ![]()
